We are celebrating the remarkable milestone of LGL’s 10th Year Anniversary, we are delighted to celebrate our fifth Eco-fashion show and Gala fundraiser. This extraordinary event not only showcases the transformative power of sustainable fashion but also presents the different projects that the organization is and has been developing in the last years and how they have helped thousands of people.

For almost a decade, we have been dedicated to reducing the environmental impact generated by the fashion industry by creating the Eco-Chic Boutique. Through our program, we have successfully reclaimed over 9,000 pounds of unused clothing and unsold fabrics, saving a remarkable 13,000 gallons of water each year.

Besides, we are proud to highlight our Good Food Box and the Pop-up Market programs. This invaluable initiative aims to support newcomers and low-income families in Niagara region by providing access to nutritious food options. By supporting this program, you can directly contribute to nourishing individuals and families, helping them thrive and build a better future.

Your support means the world to us! If you believe in our mission, we kindly ask for a donation of any amount that feels comfortable and meaningful to you. Together, we can create a greener and brighter future. Click this link to make a difference: https://linksforgreenerlearning.org/donate/

The Good Food is a community-based initiative that aims to provide affordable and nutritious food options to in need families facing food insecurity.

Community Gardens provide fresh food, physical activity, and community wellness. Through gardening tasks, individuals of all ages can engage in low-impact exercise, improving physical health and promoting an active lifestyle. The social connections formed within these spaces further enhance community mental and emotional well-being.

The Workshops are an initiative that offers a wide range of classes and activities, including cooking, sewing, Zumba, gardening, yoga, and knitting. Our mission is to provide opportunities to learn new skills, engage in physical activity, and foster social connections.

The Summer Camp is an exciting and educational project that combines outdoor activities, games, and environmental education to inspire children to become stewards of the environment while having fun. This initiative not only provides a memorable summer experience but also empowers kids with knowledge and skills to protect and conserve the natural world around them.

“Last year we helped more than 30.000 people in the Niagara community. Our goal is to help a thousand more every year”.
