T his year our Earth Day Celebration will be from Monday April 19th to Friday April 23rd. This is a day of global significance and seeks to raise awareness of pertinent issues that are affecting our environment and inspires people to work together to resolve them. Our annual Earth Day Expo is held in recognition of this day and facilitates a variety of practical workshops and activities from various local green organizations, booth displays, and engaging student competitions. This year will look a little bit different as it will be held Virtually but we are reassured that it will continue to garner significant attention from elementary and secondary schools across the Niagara Region as well as local government officials and members of the community.
