Fall Harvest Celebration

T his annual event is a celebration of the bountiful harvest from our many community gardens. Every year at our 13 community gardens across the Niagara Region, families happily work together to grow fruits, vegetables and legumes in their garden plots through our Growing Diversity Gardens project. This event recognizes their hard work and dedication and also raises funds to maintain the gardens year to year and implement new gardens in the future. This “Thanksgiving” themed outdoor event is held at our Buchanan Teaching Gardens (which is a beautiful multi-faceted green space) and features festive music, tasty local dishes, local vendors and booth displays.
