Links for Greener Learning (LGL) is a not-for-profit environmental organization that is geared towards linking educational institutions with newcomers and domestic students to provide experiential learning opportunities throughout the Niagara Region. LGL seeks to serve the needs of the community by promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable practices.
LGL programs and initiatives focus on protecting and preserving our natural environment while providing meaningful social and economic benefits to members of the community. Our purpose is to link newcomers and domestic students enrolled in cooperative learning (Co-op credits), internships, field placements, and practicum programs with opportunities to gain work experience while helping to meet the needs of the community.
Links for Greener Learning believes that newcomers have the creativity, innovation, skills, and knowledge to make valuable contributions to the Niagara Community.
